KELLY MUNRO-FAWCETT

Kelly’s journey started in Birmingham, before moving to Nottingham where she grew up. She found her home in the North at 21 and now lives in Leeds with her young son, Hadley.
A graduate with First-Class Honours from Arden School of Theatre (Manchester Uni), Kelly is an actor working across Film, Theatre, and TV. You can explore her credits here: Spotlight CV.
Kelly leads on the company’s creative direction and operational management, she is a Creative Wellbeing Workshop Specialist, trained in Mental Health and Community Engagement. She has an extensive background in working with participants and audiences in areas with low arts engagement and those living with adverse experiences.
LOUISA MAY PARKER

Lou was born and raised in Wythenshawe, Manchester and remains very proud of her working class roots! She trained as an actor at The Arden Manchester and more recently completed her MA at Drama Centre London. She was also lucky enough to spend two months training at The Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, Moscow.
Lou wrote RedBobble’s debut show ‘The Box’ and as an actor she’s worked in theatre, film and TV. Check out her Spotlight page!
She is an experienced workshop leader having worked with companies such as Collingwood Learning and Eyewitness Theatre and has led and developed workshops for communities and schools.
Lou stepped away from RedBobble Arts in 2022 and she now spends her time acting, creating alongside raising her young child Rose.

MARTHA SIMON
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Martha is a director, dramaturg and facilitator, and has a special interest in working with new writing.
As a director, she has worked across small scale touring work and main house productions in regional theatre. Highlights include: Betty (Fly In Your Soup Theatre; HOME Mcr, 2017), What Does it Take to Slay a Dragon? (by Rebekah Harrison, 2024), and the flagship production of Belle and Mary (by Adam Z. Robinson, 2021) for the Dukes Theatre in Lancaster’s 50th Anniversary season. Martha has been working with RedBobble since 2012’s To Walk In Your Shoes, which she directed. She also directed If I Should Fall and Athena (R&D) for RedBobble, and has also worked closely with writers Charlotte O’Leary and Lizzie Milton, offering dramaturgical support for their productions.
In her facilitation and teaching work, she has worked with training actors at various drama schools, universities and theatres including The Arden, the University of Manchester, the Royal Exchange Theatre, and the National Youth Theatre.
Martha lives in Manchester with her husband and two children. As a proud working class artist, she’s passionate about increasing opportunities for working class artists and communities, and strongly believes in the power of theatre as a vehicle for social change.
CLAIRE HILLS
ASSOCIATE ARTIST
Claire brings to RedBobble her many years specialising in children’s theatre and workshop facilitation.
Having spent the majority of her 20’s being a jobbing actor and street performer, Claire established Topsy Turvy Theatre in 2010 to create high quality and meaningful theatrical experiences for 2-7’s. Topsy Turvy Theatre has a distinctive style of high energy storytelling, stunning scenery and hand made puppets in its productions. As Artistic Director of Topsy Turvy Theatre, Claire has written/adapted/directed seven touring productions which have all toured extensively to theatre, school and community settings to great success. As a skilled workshop facilitator and mentor, Claire freelances for many arts organisations working with children, community members and actors with disabilities. She was delighted to be asked to be an associate artist for RedBobble and can’t wait to get stuck into the exciting projects they have coming up.
CHARLOTTE O’LEARY
ASSOCIATE ARTIST
Charlotte is a playwright specialising in site-specific, landscape theatre. She is passionate about writing great roles for women as well as giving disenfranchised young people a voice.
She’s written about her own experiences of being a teenage carer, and has explored why young people are radicalized. She hopes to explore the topic more.
She studied an MA in Dramatic Writing at Drama Centre London where she met Louisa. Before that she worked as a journalist for nearly a decade at the BBC, and as a Professor of English at the University of Monaco.
Last year she wrote ‘If I Should Fall’ for RedBobble Arts, based on letters sent to her grandmother and discovered under her mum’s bed after 40 years. She is excited to work with RedBobble again!

RACHAEL MUNRO-FAWCETT
ASSOCIATE ARTIST
Rachael is a documentary photographer based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. She has been working as a photographer ever since completing her BA Hons degree in Photography in 2007 and back in 2013 had the pleasure of collaborating with RedBobble Arts on their long term project ‘To Walk In Your Shoes’.
Curious to explore the topic of connection, Rachael has a strong affinity for people and nature and this is evident throughout her funded and personal projects. Her practise is driven by an ardent belief in the power of photography to facilitate discussions that initiate positive change within societies and she hopes to be part of the discussion.
When not working on documentary or commercial assignments she loves to travel and explore new cultures and landscapes.
