We are associate artists at Oldham Coliseum (2020/2021) and ongoing supported artists at Touchstones Museum Rochdale.

Our work is rooted in PEOPLE and their STORIES. Like most artists, we’re fascinated by what makes us human, how we connect with each other and how we relate to the world and the time in which we live.

Based in both Leeds and Manchester, we specialise in making LIVE PERFORMANCE as well as creating COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT and EDUCATION projects.

We strive to be progressive and aim to grow individually and collectively whilst staying RELEVANT and responding to our ever changing industry. As RedBobble enters a new chapter we’re excited to start experimenting with new art forms and to develop more multi-arts collaborations.

We like to spark conversation, connect and empower those without a voice.

We want to celebrate the art in EVERYONE. As OUTREACH  SPECIALISTS, community engagement is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that the arts should be INCLUSIVE and ACCESSIBLE TO ALL and we aim to remove barriers to access by taking all of our work into low socio economic areas.

We believe in WOMEN. Sadly, we still take up less space in the creative industries and we want to do our bit to change that. We aim to champion female identifying artists and we only produce work that is truly representative of us, warts and all.

Currently, two out of three of us are mums so we’re passionate advocates for PARENTS IN THE ARTS. We aim to provide opportunities to those who’re wanting to maintain a creative career and to ease the burdening cost of childcare, our workplace and rehearsals are always child friendly.

We believe in COLLABORATION and LEARNING which is why in 2019 we set out to create ‘FANN – Female Artist Network North’. A sharing space; our own ‘Moai’; a support network of female identifying artists who’re open to listening, learning and empowering one another.

Working out of two cities has it’s challenges but it’s enabled us to build connections and relationships with many different artists and venues across Yorkshire and Greater Manchester. We’re very proud to have toured our work to some incredible spaces in the north including Square Chapel Arts Halifax, CAST Doncaster, Oldham Coliseum, Oldham Library, Touchstones Museum Rochdale, Seven Arts Leeds, Theatre Royal Wakefield, The Lowry Salford, Hope Mill Theatre Manchester, New Vic Stoke and Theatre Deli Sheffield.

Lastly, we need a bit of normal! We love our families, our partners, our gardens and our friends. Of course we love RedBobble but we also BELIEVE IN BALANCE, staying healthy and a good Netflix binge!
