Job Title: Marketing Coordinator & Assistant Producer
Contract Type: Part time, 14 hours per week, Freelance (2 years fixed, with extension subject to funding)
Rate: £16.00 per hour, £11,648 per year / equivalent to £29,120 per year full-time
Location: Remote, with occasional in-person meetings in Leeds/Manchester
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator & Assistant Producer to join our core team. This freelance role will play a pivotal part in supporting RB’s neurodiverse Artistic Director with managing socials, developing high-impact marketing strategies & coordinating project logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
· Project Coordination & Support: Assist the Artistic Director in the day-to-day planning, implementation and delivery of RedBobble Arts’ theatre productions, Freedom Workshops, and the Female Artist Neurodiverse Network, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
· · Communications & Correspondence: Manage project-related correspondence, coordinate meetings, and serve as a primary point of contact for artists, partners, and collaborators, supporting AD where needed.
· Marketing & Promotion: Play a key role in elevating the profile of RedBobble Arts by leading marketing and promotional efforts.
Develop and schedule weekly social media content across platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) to promote ongoing projects and events.
Monitor social media performance, adjust strategies, and suggest improvements to increase engagement.
Create marketing materials, including posters, brochures & flyers, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging.
Support the production of promotional campaigns for projects and events, contributing to audience outreach and ticket sales efforts.
Lead on website content redevelopment.
Network Coordination:
Assist in the growth and facilitation of the Female Artist Neurodiverse Network, focusing on membership engagement and inclusivity. Key responsibilities include:
Assist organising regular network events (e.g., online workshops or in-person gatherings) to foster collaboration and dialogue among members.
Managing ongoing communication with network members, ensuring they feel included and supported in their creative journeys.
Track membership growth and engagement.
Essential Skills & Experience:
A proactive, self-driven individual with prior experience, knowledge, or a strong interest in working in a producing, marketing, or project coordination role within the theatre/arts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and developing successful marketing strategies across platforms.
Strong organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
An ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively within a remote working environment within a small team.
A genuine passion for using the arts as a tool for social change, with a commitment to championing underrepresented voices.
Desirable Experience:
Familiarity with neurodiverse communities, inclusive arts practices, or accessible project delivery.
Experience supporting marginalised groups.
Experience working on projects that amplify women’s voices, lived experiences, and social justice issues.
Understanding of fundraising processes, writing funding bids, or engaging with community stakeholders.
Experience in managing creative projects with a community or wellbeing focus, particularly with CYP (children and young people) or adults with lived experience of adversity.
